Yesterday we drove to Virginia to meet my new brother Marshall. He was found running free in Marshall, Kentucky and his original owners didn’t want him back so he was rescued by Dalmatian Rescue of Southwest Virginia. We adopted him and picked him up yesterday. After a few minutes of getting to know each other we become friends and this morning, we’ve been wrestling for hours. I even taught him how to play tug with a rope. He’s a quick learner!
While we were talking with Debi from Dalmatian Rescue we learned that they we able to save and find homes for 160 dalmatians last year. That’s a lot of kids who got happy homes just like Marshall and I.
So, when you are looking for a new family member, look for a rescue. You will be glad you did.
and remember, there is no obstacle you can’t get around if you’re willing to run, jump, tunnel or weave!
